Gary Lee Van Hall's Obituary
Arizona – Gary Lee Van Hall, 80, of Sun City, AZ, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Peoria, AZ.
Gary was born on April 19, 1946, in Decatur, IL, to Oscar and Frances (Moore) Van Hall. He graduated from Springfield High School and MacMurray College. His early years were spent working for the USPS in Springfield, IL, and Colorado Springs, CO. He then worked at an event center in Casper, WY, and then worked various construction jobs.
Gary is survived by his sister Carole (husband, Jerry) Bean of Decatur; and nephew, Jarrod Bean of AZ.
Gary will be buried next to his mother and father in Macon County Memorial Park, Decatur, IL, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, following a graveside service at 12:30 PM.
