Gene A. Stephens' Obituary
Gene Allen Stephens,89, of Forsyth, IL passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Liberty Village Nursing Home in Clinton.
Gene was born September 12, 1931 in Decatur, IL to Edgar and Stella Stephens.
Gene is survived by his wife Joe Ann; sons, Joe (Gloria) Stephens, Gerald (Jody) Stephens, Michael Daniels and Steve Daniels; daughters, Shirley (David) Knox, Pricilla McBride, Mary (Mark) King; special grandchildren, Justin, Allena, Gabrielle and Clayton Ferguson as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by his parent's; brothers; Edgar jr., Earl Dean, John, Wesley as well as an infant brother; sisters Betty, Bonnie and Eunice.
A private visitation service will be held at the Star of Hope Mausoleum within the Graceland Cemetery.
