Hello,I wanted to say how sorry my family and I are to hear about George passing away. We are members of Holy Family Parish, and my Mom and I would often sit by him at Saturday evening Mass. He always had a kind word to say. When I was in Graduate School, he would ask how school was going. The last time I saw him, I saw him in the produce area at Kroger in South Shores. It's funny how you can sit next to people for years but not know their names. I asked him his name and he asked mine. We were glad to know him.Amanda and Thelma Young

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to George's family. I have many fond memories of working with George(and Judy)at Borg Warner for many years, from the mid 60's to early 80's. When I think of George it's always of him being on and driving the yellow forktrucks. George was one of those people you'd always define as a very, very nice man.He always seemed to have a warm smile to give you. Peace be with you George.

Georgie was always a joy to be around. He was the first person I ever heard use the terms, "hard road" and "black top". I did not see him a lot, however, whenever I did I always felt welcomed and loved. I will miss him.

I wish to offer my condolences to the family. George was my Godfather. Marie was my Godmother. They are together. I remember playing on the step's of "Sullys" in Jeisyville. My mother (Janet Sciarini,Hogan)and my step-father (Bob Hogan) liked to patronize Sully's and we went with them. There was a park in Jeisyville across the street. When I was married in the Catholic Church, I was proud to have George sitting in front with his red carnation on his lapel, indicating that he is my Godfather. That is how I will always remember him. Mom gave me the choice of picking my Godfather and I chose him. He was so handsome. He also gave me the best Christmas gifts! He wouldn't let me open it until Christmas day. The world was a better place with him in it. I am proud to have him as my Godfather. May he rest in peace.
