I had not seen Georgene since she moved decades ago even though she was my cousin. Sadly our families were never close. I still remember her with fondness and as a kind and beautiful person. My deepest condolences to her husband Bill, children, and the entire family. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Georgene was first a Stephens Minister, then dear friend and bonus daughter to my Mom, Rose Mary Wolfe. They used to talk and talk. And I can imagine them having some long as they meet and catch up in Heaven. My sincere condolences to the entire Voorhees family.

I've known the Voorhees family for decades. Georgene was just the best. When we were together, we would laugh and laugh. She was kind, compassionate, easy to talk to, intelligent, vivacious, strong, the best decorator I know and so many other things. She loved her family with all of her heart. I will miss her so very much. Her smile, her laugh, hugs, all of it. I'm keeping all of your family in my heart and my prayers during this difficult time. Heaven gained an angel. God bless you all.
