Gerald E. “Jerry” Pasley, Sr, 82, of Oakley, IL passed away on April 13, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Jerry was born on March 31, 1939 in Decatur, the son of Leo and Charlotte Alberts Pasley. Jerry married the love of his life, Nadine Martin on May 24, 1957 in Decatur. Nadine, his wife of 63 years survives. Jerry is also survived by 2 sons: Gerald E. (Rhonda) Pasley, Jr of Marksville, LA; Jeff (Gladys) Pasley of Ft. Myers, FL; 2 daughters: Penny Houser of Decatur, IL; Malia Pasley of Decatur, IL; son-in-law: Mark Houser of Decatur, IL; 10 grandchildren: Crystal; Markie; Sara; Holly; Tiffany; Holly; Josh; Brittany; Roy; Natasha; 8 great-grandchildren: Howey; Rookie; Hadley; Alysa; Kira; James; Lucas; Zachary; Sister: Betty O’Laughlin of Decatur, IL. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 1 great-grandson Gage, and 1 brother Bill Pasley.
Per Jerry’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded to Jerry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
