Gina Quinlan's Obituary
Decatur-Gina Lynn Quinlan, 52, of Decatur, passed away, Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in her home with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Gina's life will be 11 A.M. Monday, December 10, 2012 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Point Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Breast Cancer Awareness or Humane Society.
Gina was born on March 3, 1960 to John and Marcella (Gentry) Gard. Gina worked as a Correctional Officer at the Macon County Sheriff Department. She married Mark Quinlan on April 15, 1994 in Decatur. Gina loved to garden, animals, crafts and spending time with family and friends.
Gina is survived by her husband Mark of over 18 years; sisters, Dana (Rick) Daniels of Decatur, Rhonda Dunlap of Decatur; brother, Michael Pedersen of NB. daughter, Lisa (Gary) Hopkins; nephews, Jeremy (Ellen) Ritchie of Mt. Zion, Ryan Dunlap of Sandi ego, CA., Brent Dunlap of Decatur; nieces, Kayla Daniels of Decatur; Kelsey Daniels of Chicago; great nephew, Zane Ritchie; great niece; Lila Ritchie; step mother, Virginia Gard of NB; grandchildren, Whitney, Wyatt, Juliea; great uncle Gayle (Norma) Gard of Martinsville, uncle Gayle (Rochel) Gard of NB.; Also survived by aunts, Joyce, Carol, Jane, Maxwell, Cheryl; uncles, terry, and Bill, all of Decatur.
In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister, 2 aunts, 3 uncles, and grandparents.
