Glen A. Wilson's Obituary
Decatur-Glen A. Wilson, 81, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in Keystone Meadows Assisted Living.
Services to celebrate Glen’s life will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Keystone Meadows Assisted Living.
Glen was born September 26, 1932, in Decatur, the son of Cecil and Della Mae Wilson (Tullis). He was united in marriage to Jo Dean Williams on September 28, 1956.
Glen served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge Macon 8, a member of the American Legion, a retired member of IBEW Local 146 for 62 years, and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Glen leaves behind his daughter, Lynette (Chuck) Wiles, granddaughter, Elizabeth Collier, a great-granddaughter, Piper Nicole Collier, and a brother, Vern Wilson. Glen was reunited in heaven with his wife, parents, and sister.
