Glenn B Disney's Obituary
Glenn Brian Disney went to be with his lord Tuesday, April 3, 2012 with his wife and son by his side.
A memorial service to celebrate Glenn's life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Internment will be at Graceland Cemetery.
Glenn was born January 24, 1962, the son of Marilla and Donald Disney. Glenn loved to fish, hunt, and ride his Harley. He married the love of his life Cindy on April 15, 1988. Glenn worked for Kelly Construction out at ADM for 24 ½ years. He was the Superintendent of Fire Protection at Kelly Construction. He taught Fire Protection from 1998-1999 at the old Grant School.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; son Josh and his girlfriend Jordon of Decatur; brother, Donald of Hot Springs, AK, Richard (Tina) of Decatur, Jim (Ann) of Decatur; sister, Ann (Darrell) of Mt. Zion, and Nancy of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents.
The wife and family give a special thank you to Dr. Duncan, Dr. Tarter, Dr. Elroy, and Dr. Velasco, the staff and nurses of Cancer Care Specialists, and the staff and nurses of Hospice. Cindy would like to give special thank you to her friends, and Glenn's close friends for their help and just being there for them. Glenn was very proud of his son fighting in the war for his country.
