Gloria Malone's Obituary
Gloria A. Malone, age 84, of Decatur, IL went to our Father in Heaven at 7:06 AM on July 1, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Gloria was born October 4, 1935 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Gustav “Gus” and Bessie Bledsaw Monska. She married Robert M. Malone on December 7, 1952 in Decatur, IL. Robert passed away on October 26, 2007.
She is survived by her son Neal Malone, daughter in law Melissa Malone, son Billy Malone, daughter in law Miranda Malone, she has four grandchildren Taylor Malone, Allison Malone, Conor Malone, Delainey Malone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Brian Malone and daughter Marsha Malone, and 2 brothers, William and Harry Monska.
She loved fishing, cooking, bowling and spending time with her family. She was a long time member and employee of Weight Watchers.
Services for Gloria will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, 2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Decatur. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Care of Decatur. CDC guidelines will be followed, and use of masks are required to all in attendance.
