I’m sorry to be missing the memorial services for Aunt Gloria, but I am with you all in spirit. Aunt Gloria was the sweetest woman and I am blessed to be able to call her my Aunt. Aunt Elizabeth took care of Gloria in her youth and Gloria took care of Elizabeth in her later years. Both lived into their 90’s. Blessings to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren today and in the days to come.Leslie KowalskiMesilla, New Mexico
So many memories I have pondered concerning my loving Grandmother, while I sit here and write this, enough to fill a book….The many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners over the years, family gathered together, laughter and conversation. I recall Grandma often singing lyrics of the Pied Pipers while she and Gramps would be in the kitchen preparing food. She loved cooking and loved her family.I’ll never forget Grandma’s smile and those words “there’s Jon boy” when I would come for a visit. She was special to me. Gloria and Shorty Moutrey were a profound influence in my life. My Grandma went through so much in life, but she endured all the way to the age of ninety. Through trials of life, tragic loss and declining health her consistent faith in God provided the strength to carry on. Love you, Grams. It wont be long, and we’ll all gather again for a grand reunion beyond.
