Harold Buss' Obituary
Harold E. Buss Jr, 76, of Sullivan, IL died Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 12:50 am at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Harold was born September 25, 1943 in Quincy, IL, the son of Harold and Mary Ellsworth Buss.
Harold was a graduate of Quincy High School. He join the Navy at the age of 17 and was discharged with an honorable discharge.
He is survived by two sons, Tony A. Buss and Chad K. Buss; three sisters, Doris R. McLaughlin of Deltona, FL, Denise K. Winchell of Pittsfield, IL and Mary A. Oakley of Deltona, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lana Lee Buss and Marcey M. Schweiter.
Special thanks for the loving care Harold received at Sullivan Healthcare and the ICU of St. John’s Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield IL.
The Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Harold.
