Harold Hickenbottom's Obituary
Harold Hickenbottom, 81, passed away in his home on January 12, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Harold was born on November 15, 1941, in Decatur Il to Ray and Myrtle Hickenbottom.
Harold was an avid hunter. He never missed a deer season. He liked to spend his time on his numerous interests including golf, carpentry, motorcycle riding and watching racing and the St. Louis Cardinals. He has an outgoing personality to the point where he never met a stranger no matter where he went. He enjoyed his family and loved spending time with them.
Harold is survived by his wife, Sue McMahon; daughter, Lisa (Brian) Hastings; sisters, Betty Faulkner and Alice Fisher and grandchildren, Devon (Steve) Ziegler, David Perkins, Luke Hastings and Brynn Hastings. As well as numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ginny Hickenbottom; parents, Ray and Myrtle Hickenbottom and brother, Lowell Hickenbottom.
A visitation will be held for Harold at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm with services starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be directly after the funeral services at Point Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
