Dear all, I am saddened to hear of Harry's passing. I always enjoyed when him and Esther came to visit my mother and father (Bob and Sandra Perkins.) I remember how fun the visits were and still enjoy the Christmas stockings that Esther made the boys. I also remember Marion and Viola and their dog Bosco (with one eye). Viola would always bring a little bad of mixed candies for each of us kids. I pray God's peace and comfort on all of you. In sympathy, Bob and Beth (Perkins) Hopp

Dear Family of Mr. Carlson,I was very sad to hear that Mr. Carlson has passed away. I saw the obituary in the Decatur paper. I remember Mr. Carlson very well as the Principal of Woodrow Wilson Junior High School when I was there for 7th and 8th grades. And, I remember Mr. Carlson from church – Scott and I were in the same grade – HS class of 1970.Mr. Carlson was a wonderful man, and will be remembered by many, many people for living a life of giving service to others.I am sure he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.May God bless you all.Sincerely,Michael Stephens ([email protected])
Mrs. Carlson and family,When I was the secretary at Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School in the 60s, Mr. Carlson was my boss. He was kind, funny and most importantly, a fine man. My condolences to your family.Sincerely,Linda Cunningham Hawke Neps
To the Carlson Family: Mr. Carlson was a great human being and he will be missed. He had his hands full with me at Woodrow Wilson, but he and Mr. Hantel kept me on the straight and narrow. When Karen and I would run into him somewhere, he always remembered us.and his smile would light up the room. Condolences to you all and especially to Robert and Jan.Ed and Karen Root
To Esther and family: Harry was one of my all-time favorite people in the world. He was so supportive of me during the years when I was an administrator and also as a friend in the years following. We will all miss him, but I am confident he is enjoying his eternal reward. Blessings to all of you.
To Esther and the Carlson family,You have our prayers and condolences. I first met Harry while student teaching at Woodrow Wilson Jr. High. What a wonderful administrator. Harry was always helpful. Then we sat near one another at church years later. I will remember Harry's grand smile and wonderful personality.Dale and Linda Sloan
Dear Esther, I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Harry what an awesome person. You two always made me smile and I have thought of you both so often I miss my old job cleaning for people. You both were so appreciative. I was glad to have done it for the few years I did because no matter how tired I was from my other job at the hospital it was great to get to know both of you. I'm so glad I got to share time with you and meet some of your family. Esther you will be in my prayers, and, thank you for the prayers you always threw my way. May God bless your family at this time . Lots and lots of love you friend Kathy L.
