Harry O. Logue's Obituary
Decatur – Harry “Bo” Logue Jr., 72, of Decatur passed away at 6:27 pm on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in his home.
Harry was born July 30, 1940 to Harry “Bobe” and Edna (Craft) Logue. He worked at Muellers Co. for over 40 years. Bo lived life to the fullest.
Bo married Peggy (Fowler) of Edinburg on February 10, 1962. They had 2 sons, Jeff and Trent. Bo was involved with many things with his family. He was a member of Mt. Auburn Beagle Club and Warrensburg Gun Club. He loved watching his sons play fast pitch softball and watched them play in the Youth National Tournament. He never met a stranger and was always there to help his family and friends out. Becoming a “Grandpa” was his best achievement. He enjoyed watching the deer and birds and he loved a good fire.
Bo leaves behind his wife Peggy, sons Jeff (Angie) Logue of Blue Mound and Trent Logue of Edwardsville, IL., and Paige of Clinton IL; 5 Grandchildren Kyle Logue in the Navy, Hannah, Jake, Eli and Sage. Also his brothers Jack (Marie) Logue and Jerry (Trish) Logue; sister Sue Binkley; brother-in-law Larry (Martha) Fowler; nephews Danny (Becky) Binkley, Tim Binkley, Gary (Kristy) Binkley, Bob Logue, Mike Osborn and Daren (Tami) Fowler; nieces Wendi (Randy) Campbell, Lori (Bill) Younger, Alena (Mark) Timms and many great friends.
In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by 2 nephews Mike Logue, David Binkley and brother-in-law Kenny Binkley; and great nephew Marshal Binkley
Funeral service to celebrate Bo's life will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Monday in the funeral home. Interment will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery and conclude with the 'Flight Home' ceremony. Memorials are suggested to Decatur Memorial Cancer Care. We want to thank Dr. Pav Gill, Dr. Velasco and the nursing staff at Cancer care, especially Chris.
