Harve "Buck" Caylor's Obituary
Decatur-Harve “Buck” Caylor Jr., 91, of Decatur, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Imboden Creek Living Center.
Buck was born March 16, 1925 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Harve and Frona (Hassinger) Caylor Sr. He proudly served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Buck retired from BorgWarner. He married Mary Johns August 25, 1951. She preceded him in death March 4, 2013.
Buck leaves behind his son Bruce (Kathy) Caylor of Decatur, daughters Gloria (Marion) McVey of Moweaqua and Sandy (Joe) Tupy of Riverton, sister Wanda Osborn, grandchildren Brett (Andrea) McVey, Brandon (Crystal) McVey, Alyssa Rade, Zach Tupy, Adam Rade, and Emily Tupy, and six great-grandchildren with two on the way.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and several brothers and sisters.
Services to celebrate Buck’s life will be at a later date.
