The best memory I have of her is when brian and I got to tell her she was finally going to be a grandma. That was the best day ever. I will miss knowing that she was always praying for my family. Peace be with you Hazel.
Brett and Nancy, Just to let you know your in our thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am here for you if you need a friend!!! Xoxo Joe and Robin Haskins
A great neighborhood mom back in good old Wauwatosa, Wisconsin during the sixties and very early seventies. I thought she was the coolest mom on the block. Hazel was the person who asked if I wanted to know the new baby's sex and new baby's name when my mother was in the hospital and I had totally forgot about it having so much fun playing with her sons on that day in 1970. Have seen Hazel periodically over the years and it was always great to visit with her. Luckily I got to visit with her many times about 3 and 4 years ago visiting her son Mark in Decatur. R.I.P. Nancy, Brett and Kim,I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember how sweet your Mom was to me and my kids when I was going through tough times in my life. She gave me good advice one day that I will never forget ….. "Be happy for your kids!" Such a sweet sweet lady. Love you all,Kendra Sloan
I know that my Dad, Bud Leach, loved Hazel as he did all his family, with all his heart. He was slow to show emotion, but he adored Hazel. I am glad they will be together again. Love, Elizabeth Leach Stancliffe
Thinking of you Nancy and your brothers at this difficult time. Your mom was such a sweet lady. I am sure you will miss her terribly.
