Helen was a dear friend who was always thinking of others so that she could help in some way. She spoke so often of her deep gratitude to God for the loving care and concern she received from John and Brenda Duncan. She would often say, "I don't know where I would be without those two wonderful people. When her brother Paul and his wife came from Minnesota to visit she would invite me to have lunch with them. It was my privilege to minister to both Helen and her loving husband Tom when I was in Decatur. May Helen be experiencing her eternal reward; she surely imaged the loving Christ with her goodness to so many. Sister Marianne Nolan, O.P.

Aunt Helen was a very gracious lady, always positive, uncomplaining, and sweet all the time! We are so grateful to have known Aunt Helen. We are so blessed that we were able to visit her and spend some time with her in August, 2012. We had a great visit and really enjoyed our time at the Abraham Lincoln Museum. We love you Aunt Helen!
