Helen Lucille Parish's Obituary
Decatur-Helen Lucille Parish, 93, of Decatur, passed away at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Fairhavens Christian Home.
Services to celebrate Helen’s life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Father James Palakudy, celebrant.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Interment with “Flight Home” Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Helen was born May 4, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Ralph and Frances (Roeschke) Reynolds.  She was formerly employed by Tupperware as a warehouse manager.   She loved dining out at restaurants. She married Myron Parish August 22, 1944 in Decatur.  He preceded her in death in 1958.
She leaves behind her sons; Michael and wife Glenna, Garry and wife Cindy, and Terry and wife Tina Parish all of Decatur, brother; Larry Reynolds of Decatur, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers.
