Helen Warchol's Obituary
Decatur-Helen Warchol, 91, of Decatur, formerly of Chicago, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in McKinley Court.
Helen was born July 30, 1921 in Chicago, the daughter of Leonard and Lottie (Sakaitis) Jesewitz. She graduated from Lindblom High School on Chicago's south side. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, was an avid Cubs fan, and lived in Chicago for ninety years. She married Bernard John Warchol November 5, 1949 in Chicago. He preceded her in death July 13, 1993.
She leaves behind her daughter Dr. Christine Warchol-Eloy and husband Victor Eloy of Forsyth and loving granddaughters Michell of Chicago and Erica of New York City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Matthew, and brother Stanley Jesewitz.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. D. Patel, Dr. H. Atluri, Dr. K. Patel and the wonderful nurses and staff at McKinley Court for all of their loving care.
Per Helen's wishes cremation services will be provided. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Chicago.
