Helen "Joanne" Weaver's Obituary
Helen “Joanne” Weaver, 74, of Oakley, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Joanne was born February 6, 1942, in Harvey, IL to Robert and Helen (Nichols) McIntosh. She married Robert E. Weaver, Sr. on February 6, 1960. She managed Cerro Gordo School Bus Company for many years. She also worked at Sullivan Campground and Marina and enjoyed it immensely. Joanne loved to bowl, play softball, sew and was a great shuffle board player. But most of all, Joanne cherished her time with her family and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert E. Weaver, Sr.; five children, Kimberly (Richard) McDermith of Hartshorn, MO., Donna (Ron) Wampler of Sesser, IL, Robert E. (Deborah) Weaver, Jr. of Oakley, Carole (James) Halvachs of Maroa, and Ryan (Bridgette) Weaver of Cerro Gordo; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Esther) McIntosh of Stockdale, GA and one sister, Rhonda (Jerry) Komnick of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert “Bob” McIntosh.

Honoring Joanne’s wishes cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois, SC.
