Imogene Isome's Obituary
Imogene Isome, 88, of Mt. Zion, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Heritage Health, Mt. Zion, IL. Mrs. Isome was born January 10, 1924, in Decatur, daughter of John J. and Mathilda K. (Nordling) Gullis. Imogene worked as a stenographer at the Sangamon Ordinance, Frank Tenney Pontiac Agency, and National System of Garage Ventilation. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and received the PTA Life Award. Imogene married James Russell 'Russ' Isome June 4, 1950 in Decatur. Surviving is her husband, James R. Isome of Mt. Zion; daughters: Patricia K. (Mike) Jarrell of Naperville and Cheryl (Peter) Hellstedt of Schaumburg; grandchildren: Chris, Tim and Brian Jarrell and Beth and John Hellstadt. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am in Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery at a later time. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
