I am so sorry to see this. I had hoped to get back and visit her again. I have so many memories dating back to 1955 when my parents met her and Jim and Carolyn (we didn’t call her Sue), and Terry. She loved arguing with my dad about religion. I will always have three main memories of Irene: 1) her infectious laugh; 2) her knowledge of the Bible; 3) her love of Jesus. She couldn’t wait to be reunited with Jim and see her Lord. Prayers for the family.
So sorry for your loss Sue. Hope you are doing ok. You know Irene was one of my favs at Eagle Ridge, a little cranky, but a good heart underneath it all. I always visited with her in the dining room when I came back home and she enjoyed looking at my pictures of flowers or decorations for holidays. She had a sharp mind , and I loved her laugh. She will be missed, she is where she was ready to be.
