Jack F Scott's Obituary
Jack F Scott, 77, of Decatur, formerly of Cisco, IL, passed away August 5, 2013 in his home surrounded by family.
Jack was born September 22, 1935, the son of Leo F. and Maxine (Black) Scott. He married Kathy Weaver on November 24, 1971. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, daughter Susan (Anthony) Hoeppner of Goodlettsville, TN, sons Joe (friend Nancy) and Mike (friend Rose) of Cisco, IL, Jim (Cindy) of Mattoon, IL, and Jason (Casey) of Heyworth, IL. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Jack served in the United States Marine Corp and spent most of his career driving a semi.
There will be no visitation. A family celebration of his life will be held at a later date memorials may be made to DMH Hospice or donor’s choice.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, his parents of Mattoon, IL, Grandparents of Argenta and Cisco, IL, and a special uncle (Berle D. Black) of Cisco, IL.
Jack will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his special little buddy, Cody.
