Jack Raymond Watrous' Obituary
Mt. Auburn-Jack R. Watrous, 62, of Mt. Auburn, passed away at 4:10 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at St. John's Hospital with his family by his side.
Services to celebrate Jack's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the activities department at Fairhavens Christian Home. Jack was born January 31, 1948 in Tuscola, the son of Richard G. and Mary G. (Donnals) Watrous. He was previously employed as a truck dump operator at ADM retiring after forty-two years of service. He enjoyed fishing, going to auctions, and the Chicago Bears. He married Kathy Hinton June 11, 1967.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of over forty-three years, sons; Jerry and partner Jeremy Sutor of Decatur and Keith and wife Kristy of Taylorville, daughters; Tina Moore and husband Bill Jr. of Mt. Auburn and Theresa Barker and husband Scott of Decatur, grandchildren; Eric Moore, John York, Cara Hoffman, Heather Moore, Zachary Watrous, Brianne Hoffman, Britany Watrous, and Nathan Watrous, great-grandchild; Jordan York, brothers; Bob and wife Cledia, Rick and wife Gisela, David and wife Jane, and Chuck and wife Kim, and sisters; Patty Beck and Charlotte Kovacs and husband Joe.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents and brother; Ralph,
