Jacqueline H. Ridge's Obituary
Jacquelyn H. Ridge, 89, of Decatur, IL passed away September 13, 2019 at her residence.
Jackie was born August 12, 1930 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Harry and Loretta (Bolyard) Simpkins. She married William Ridge, October 1976 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death, April 2011.
She lived in Decatur for several years and moved to St. Paul, MN. She returned to Decatur, IL in 1972. She worked several years as a housekeeper for a local motel. She had also worked in the kitchen at Keystone Meadows, retiring in 2012.
Jackie has been reunited with her husband, William, her son, William Michael Roberts, infant brother, parents and three sisters.
Surviving are her children, Pamela Roberts (Ronnie) of Mt. Zion, Charles Goad (Jim) of Indianapolis, IN, Robert Wagers (Kelly) of Decatur, IL; siblings, JoAnn Henderson of Hagerstown, IL, Phyllis McKirahan (Richard) of Decatur, IL, Harry Simpkins (Linda) of St. Paul, MN, Tom Simpkins (Susan) of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Andrew Wagers (Amy), Aaron Roberts (Kristen) and great-grandchildren, Mason and Jackson.
Service have been requested to be private at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.
Memorials: St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church.
