Jacquelyn Kay Schwalbe's Obituary
Jacquelyn Kay Schwalbe, 68, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
She was born March 8, 1949, in Decatur, to Sterling Redd and Delores Imogene (Leigh) Kidd. She married James Andrew Schwalbe on December 23, 1984, in Decatur. One of Jacquelyn’s favorite past times was to crochet, but most of all spending time with her family.
Jacquelyn is survived by her husband of 32 years, James; her mother, Delores; four sons, Robert (Jeri) Hill of Bath, IL, Alan Schwalbe of Decatur, Fred Schwalbe and Michael Schwalbe both of Tucson, AZ; three daughters, Peggy (Jimmy) Perry of Decatur, Tammy Laverty of Clarksville, TN and Connie (Carl) Sinkler of Decatur; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Doug (Vicki) Kidd of Forsyth and one sister, Robin Grant of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and two sisters.
Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
