Decatur- James Francis Broske of Decatur went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 24, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side.
 
Funeral Liturgy to celebrate James' life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral home with Father Rick Weltin officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors conducted by the USMC Honor Guard and 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Marines Toys for Tots Program or donor's choice. Online condolences and memories can be shared with James' family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com
 
He was born in Decatur IL, March 08, 1936 to Frank and Louise (Speasl) Broske. He married Mary Ann Gallivan on November 17, 1956. James was a long time member of the V.F.W in Decatur, IL. James proudly served his country in the USMC from July 1953 to July 1955. James retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service.
He leaves behind his wife Mary Ann, daughter; Deborah Marquis and husband Randy of Assumption, grandchildren; Britney and Trevor Marquis, brother; Bill Broske, sister; Dolores Ickes.
