James Nelson Buck, 92, of Norman, Oklahoma, formerly of Decatur, passed away Friday, June 4 at his residence. James was born January 8, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Roy and Ada (Rupp) Buck. He proudly served in the Unite Read Obituary
I grew up across the alley from Mr Buck. I remember the giant leaf fires he would have. He always had time to talk with me and was always smiling. At baseball games he could not sit still. He would walk around the park picking up litter. I hope that your faith will sustain you in your time of grief and mourning "Little Jimmy" .

I have known Jim since about 1979. I met Peggy sometime in the mid-70's but never knew Jim was her Dad. Jim was a great tool maker and machinist. He was incredibly talented. He always seemed to have a smile on his face. He was a great friend to me and my condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Karen and Steve, I'm so sorry! I think I only met Steve one time maybe a decade ago but have worked with Karen since 2009. I'm terribly sorry for your loss as losing a parent is so hard. I'm sure Mr. Buck looked on you both with pride and I'm glad he got to live a long life at the very least. I'll be thinking of you both during this time.
