My thoughts and prayers are definitely with the Forbes family. I'll never forget the SDHS Homecoming of 1977. I was the senior class advisor and Jeff was a senior. Jim and Barb so graciously allowed us to build our homecoming float in their garage. Do you realize how much patience that must've taken to give the time and space nightly with noisy teenagers? It was always a treat to visit with them while the students built that float, and by the way, the float won 1st place much because of a great host and hostess!! My prayers and thoughts are with the family. I just loved seeing Jim and Barb come back to Fl in the winter. Jim was such a great guy and comical. I loved seeing all his pretty suspenders. There were some good times at our social activities when Jim was here.
We are all so sad that Jim has passed from this life to the next one, however Jim LOVED the LORD, and he is present with him now. I am THANKFUL to have met him, known him, and loved him. I am a better person because of knowing him, and his sweet wife Barb. Our prayers are with this precious family.
