James Lee Jackson's Obituary
Shelbyville – James Lee Jackson, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025.
James was born on May 2, 1935, in Macon, IL, the son of Glenn and Laura (Bradford) Jackson. He worked as a machinist at Mueller Co. and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God in Assumption. James married Ruth Ann Pease on March 28, 1969, in Clinton, IL.
James is survived by his wife Ruth Ann of Shelbyville; son David (Alena) Jackson of Moweaqua; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister Linda Tackett of Louisville, IL; other relatives and friends.
In honor of James’ wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. Services will be held at a later date.
