James Phillip Lynch's Obituary
James Phillip Lynch, 55, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 in his home with his family by his side.
Jim was born January 9, 1960 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, the son of James Morris and Frances Marie (Bernd) Lynch. He was employed as a chef with Wyndcrest in Rochester. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, magic, and card tricks. He married Vicki Ann Vogel October 10, 1998 in Decatur.
Jim leaves behind his wife Vicki of Springfield, Illinois, father James of Virginia, and sisters Becki Drown of Oklahoma, Renee (Mark) Brock of Georgia, and Pam (Tom) Morrow of Lincoln, Illinois.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Frances.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff with 7C ICU at Memorial Medical Center and St. John’s Hospice Services for all of their loving care.
Services to celebrate Jim’s life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. The family requests casual attire. Entombment will be in the Pieta Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the APL in Springfield.
