James D. Middleton's Obituary
Decatur-James D. Middleton, 51, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his home.
Graveside services to celebrate Jim's life will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery with the 'Flight Home' Ceremony to conclude the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements. James was born October 17, 1959 in Decatur, the son of Dan and Joyce (Trudeau) Middleton. He was a mechanic that loved to work on cars. He also enjoyed fishing and watching movies. He married Diane (Smith) Middleton in 1992. She preceded him in death August 9, 2008.
He leaves behind his sons; Chad, James, and Max Middleton, daughters; Christina Nation and husband David, Amanda Best and husband William, Crystal Logan and husband Kenny, Lacey Middleton, and Lindsey Middleton, father; Dan, brothers; Ron, Dan, and Andrew Middleton, sisters, Kathy Barrish and husband Phillip, Trina Stemple and husband Tim, and Jessica Christian, grandmother; Madonna Fort and nine grandchildren.
He was reunited in Heaven with mother, wife, and grandparents Clarence and Ann Middleton and Bernard Fort, aunt- Sylvia Hargrove, uncle- Lewis 'Sonny' Trudeau, cousin- Tommy Blackford.
The family would like to give special thanks to LPN Sandy Trudeau, special friend Carol Gooch, daughter Christina Nation, and sister, Kathy Barrish for all their devoted, loving care.
