James Schwalbe's Obituary
James Schwalbe, 77, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born October 12, 1939, in Decatur, to Imogene and Albert Schwalbe. He married Jacquelyn Kidd on December 23, 1984, in Decatur.
James is survived by four sons, Robert (Jeri) Hill of Bath, IL, Michael (Christina) Schwalbe of Oceanside, CA and Fred (Jill) Schwalbe of Tucson, AZ and Alan Schwalbe of Decatur; three daughters, Peggy (James) Perry of Decatur, Tammy Laverty of Clarksville, TN and Connie (Carl) Sinkler of Decatur; 12 grandchildren including grand-daughters Kierra Laverty and Kira Longcor and grandsons Tyler Laverty and Tony Longcor and 15 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and sister Phyllis.
Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
