Jamie A. White's Obituary
Jamie A. White, 59, passed away on April 29, 2026, in Decatur, IL. Born on October 7, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of William H. and Lois J. (Upton) Scott.
Jamie was an angel on earth and was adored by her friends and family. She was incredibly crafty, having her own jewelry business designing bracelets, dream catchers, and other keepsakes. Jamie was an avid collector of Native American paraphernalia. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors with her beloved husband, Turley. She was a lover of country music and hanging out with her service dogs, Angel and Tinkerbell.
Jamie is survived by her husband — Turley D. White; two children — Raymond Britt and Samantha (Skyler Sloan) Oliver; grandchildren — Londyn Thomas, Paris Thomas, Junior James, and Ryder Sloan; siblings — Dorothy (Paul) Thurston, Cindy Cosnor, Shirley (Jim) Lotzgesell, Billie (Larry) Willis, and Rodney Herzner; and a special thank you to Residential Hospice nurses Rebecca and Vickie for their exceptional care and support.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents — William and Lois Scott; and brother — Steven Upton.

A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will follow visitation at 12:00pm.
