Mt. Zion-Janet E. Camden, 73, of Mt. Zion, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Friday, January 07, 2011 at her home with her family by her side.
Graveside services to celebrate Janet's life will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with the 'Flight Home' Ceremony concluding the service. Memorial contributions may be made to DMH Hospice. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements. Janet was born February 9, 1937 in Decatur, the daughter of Irvin and Nola (Sides) Fathauer. She was previously employed as a LPN with St. Mary's Hospital retiring after thirty-three years of service. She married Ray Camden March 8, 1968 in Decatur. He preceded her in death June 21, 1990.
She leaves behind her son; Tony and wife Jennifer of Mt. Zion, daughter; Leslie Robertson and husband Ricky of Mt. Zion, grandchildren; Hunter, Coalton, Holly, Joey, Michael, Michelle, Eric, Shawn, and Nicholas, great-grandchildren; Fisher Garner, Aaron LeCates, and Max Robertson, brothers; Larry Fathauer and wife Jeanette of Indiana, Lynn Fathauer of Springfield, and Ricky Fathauer of Decatur, sisters; Eleanor Bailey and companion Pat of Decatur, Judy Fathauer of Decatur, and Bonnie Phelps and companion Mark Webb of Decatur, and step-daughter; Debbie Bryson and husband Jon of LaPlace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, and daughter; Marla.
