Jeanette Adams' Obituary
Decatur-Jeanette Adams, 88, of Decatur, died at 4:05 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Fair Havens Christian Home with her family by her side.
Jeanette was born on April 12, 1926, the daughter of Charles and Geneva Dye. She met her one true love Merle Adams and they were married April 21, 1945. They shared 28 years before his passing in 1973.
She is survived by her son, Paul Adams of Decatur; daughters, Debra (Bob) Reynolds of Decatur; Cindy (Devon) Norfleet of Cisco, IL; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
An exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother has now joined her one true love and our Heavenly Lord Jesus.
Honoring Jeanette’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland Crematory. A private family service will be held for Jeanette.
