Jeanette E Butler's Obituary
Jeanette Eland Butler, 59, of Maroa, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanette was born on August 12, 1961, in Junction City, Kansas to Clifford Allen and Lorna Elane (Jones) Weiffenbach. She married Larry Ray Butler on June 30, 1997 in Severville, TN. Jeanette was a member of Decatur First Church of the Nazarene and was also a Sunday school teacher at a previous Nazarene church. Jeanette was caring, loving and a sweet mom to so many. She loved to travel to the smokey mountains and volunteer at a missionary village in Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Larry; her children, Craig (Paula) Moyer of Tucson, AZ, Jason Moyer of Clinton, IL, Brian (Kelly)Butler of Sullivan, IL, Krystle (Ricky) McEvers of Concord, NC, Jacqueline (Anthony) Velez-Noble of Clinton, IL and Lorie Mueller of Maroa, IL; her mother, Lorna (Bennett) Wilkins; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frederick Weiffenbach of Effingham, IL, Richard (Suzanne) Wilkins of Decatur, IL and Scott Wilkins of Decatur; two sisters, Brenda Adams of Macon, IL and Becky (Todd) Williams of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford; her aunt, Rose French; her brother, Allen Weiffenbach; and two sisters-in-law, Pat Weiffenbach and Jodi Wilkins.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jeanette will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Decatur First Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday before the service at the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
