Jeanine R. M. Lovel's Obituary
Decatur-Jeanine R. M. Lovel, 78, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur with her family by her side.
Jeanine was born May 10, 1937 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James and Rhoda Alberta (Imel) Musson. She was previously employed as a Purchasing Coordinator at Wagner Castings Company with twenty-five years of service. She then worked at Eagles retiring after ten years of service. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and former member and pianist of Calvary Southern Baptist Church. Jeanine enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, playing the piano, and watching softball games. She married Jack Don Lovel December 28, 1954. He preceded her in death June 28, 1971.
Jeanine leaves behind her children Linda Jones (Terry), Laura Ainsworth (Donovan), Len Lovel (Debbie), Lee Ralph (Kevin), Lavonne Marshall (Brad), sisters Darlene Camp and Kathleen Naylor, twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Jeanine was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services to celebrate Jeanine’s life will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Rev. Len Lovel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Entombment with “Flight Home” Ceremony will be at the Pieta Garden Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery.
