Decatur- Jeauquetta Grace DeClerck, 90, of Decatur passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Honoring Jeauquetta’s wishes there are no services planned. Cremation will take place at Graceland Crematory. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Mary Bryant Home for the Blind/Visually Impaired, 2960 Stanton Street, Springfield, IL 62703.
She was born September 12, 1921 in Macon County the daughter of Colonel and Emma (Rigsby) Allison. She retired from Decatur Memorial Hospital in 1986 after working over 20 years in the pediatric unit. She loved caring for children. She was an avid Illini fan and enjoyed listening to Sport talk on WSOY. She is known to many on face book as Little Grandma (LGM) and appreciated all the thoughts and prayers of her fb friends.
She had two daughters, (the late) Judy Owens and Eleanor (Dennis) Alsbury, granddaughters; Elizabeth A. Owens and Jennifer A. Alsbury, and great-grandson Isaiah Bond.
