Jerry and Barb Overton have been a big part of our family for decades. And we grieve with Barb and their family, while also remembering fondly their many kindnesses and warm friendship.They were close friends of Ed and Ruth Fisher when they lived in Decatur, Illinois and remained close to them and the extended Fisher Family. We often gathered in large and convivial groups, but Jerry would also seek you out individually and talk both earnestly and humorouly about just about every thing under the sun. He was a great conversationalist because he was curious and generous. -- a lover of life, a faithful man, a supporter of the community, a great work ethic. Jerry made our lives better and he will be missed and remembered by many.
