Jerome "Todd" Robinson's Obituary
Decatur - Jerome “Todd” Robinson, 55, of Decatur, Illinois, entered the presence of his Savior on November 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family in the home he cherished. After a courageous battle with cancer, Todd spent one final Thanksgiving surrounded by prayer, gratitude, and the people who meant everything to him. Now he is whole, pain-free, and rejoicing with Jesus, whom he spent his life pointing others toward.
Born May 5, 1970, in Decatur to Jerome “Terry” Robinson and Peggy (Brinkoetter) Phipps, Todd grew up rooted in the community he never stopped serving. He graduated from Macarthur High School and later earned his degree from Eastern Illinois University. In 1995 he married the love of his life, Pamela Jackson, and together they built a beautiful faith-filled life and family.
Todd founded Noah’s Plumbing Heating & Cooling, a thriving family business where he was blessed to work side-by-side with his wife Pam, his son Noah, and his brother David. Work wasn’t just a job; it was another way to provide, to mentor, and to share the love of Christ.
A man of the outdoors and skilled hands, Todd loved hunting with his boys and his dogs, tending the peaceful acreage he and Pam shaped into a little slice of heaven, raising chickens, carving intricate wood pieces in quiet moments, and firing up the smoker for epic family feasts. These gatherings were filled with spicy-food challenges and off-color jokes with his boys, quick-witted banter with his daughter, deep conversations about life and faith, and always a love for Jesus at the center.
For years Todd faithfully volunteered at Renaissance Church, serving with a joyful heart and leaving a mark on everyone he met there.
Todd is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Pamela Robinson; his four children, Tyler (Elizabeth) Jackson, Collin (Erin) Robinson, Noah (Jessica) Robinson, and Abigail Robinson; and five adored grandchildren, Chase, Elaina, Dean, Theodore, and Cador. He also leaves behind his parents, Terry Robinson and Peggy Phipps; his siblings, Tammy (Michael) Thrasher, Bryan (Denise) Robinson, and David Robinson; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Renaissance Church, 456 North Water Street, Decatur, IL, on Friday, December 19th, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the Colombia Treatment Center “Mountains of Hope”, his doctors and hospice team, and the army of prayer warriors who walked this road with them. Your love carried them further than words can say.
