Jerri S Stewart's Obituary
Jerri Stewart, 69, of Assumption, IL passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service celebrating Jerri's life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before service. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Assumption. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American cancer Society.
Jerri was born September 29, 1943 in (town), the daughter of Gerald and Wilma (McKinney) Wells. She graduated from Macarthur High School in 1961. She married Tom Stewart on December 13, 1969 in Macon County. Jerri liked to travel and spend time with her family. Jerri will be missed by all who knew her.
Jerri leaves behind her husband Tom; sons, Donald (Tammy) Stewart of Springfield, IL; Michael (Tricia) Stewart of Assumption, IL; Jeff Stewart of Assumption, IL; daughter, Stephanie (Les) Bright of League City, TX; one brother, Steve Wells; and six grandchildren, Kelli, Alison, Megan, Zachary, Jessica and Quinn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the nurses at The Cancer Care Center and the 5th floor staff of Decatur Memorial Hospital for their care.
