Jerry Bowles' Obituary
Decatur – Jerry Bowles, 80, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Jerry was born on October 12, 1940, in Decatur, the son of Perry “Pat” and Dorothy (Jordan) Bowles. He worked at Caterpillar as a forklift operator and married Sharon K. (Crail) Gober on March 31, 1979, in Decatur.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sharon of Decatur; son, Mike Bowles of Decatur; grandchildren: Dakota Michael Bowles, Dalton David Bowles and Angel Marie Hilton; stepchildren: Todd (Ann) Gober and Tracey Gober of Decatur; step grandchildren: Sarah and Jessica Schiro; step great grandson Teyton Schiro; sister Sue (Bill) Gillen of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Denise Ellen Hilton and sister and brother-in-law Rose and Claude White.
Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in North Fork Cemetery.
