Jerry K. Brummitt's Obituary
Oreana-Jerry K. Brummitt, 45, of Oreana, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Jerry was born January 17, 1968 in Decatur the son of Jim and May-Kee (Kong) Brummitt. He graduated from Maroa-Forsyth and Millikin University where he was a standout athlete in baseball and football. He was employed as a terminal supervisor with ADM trucking. He enjoyed working out, fast cars, and spending time with all of his friends from the gym.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons Tyler and Tanner Brummitt, parents Jim and May-Kee, brother Mike Brummitt and wife Tammy, sister Christine Brummitt, grandma Doris Brummitt Main, niece Lilyana Brummitt, nephews Michael and Brandon Brummitt, and the love of his life Courtney Francisco.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa Charles Brummitt.
Visitation to celebrate Jerry's life will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Forsyth Youth League or Educational Fund for Tyler or Tanner Brummitt.
