I met Jerry in 2011 at Sliderz Bar,,I use to meet him there and eat dinner before bands would play, Jerry loved listening to the music and dancing with the ladies.He was known as "Uncle Jerry", a friend to all..I use to drop by his house in the country near Oakley, He loved mowing his large yard and just loved the outdoors..The last time I saw him was last summer, I took him out of the nursing home for a lunch at Sliderz, He was so appreciative of me taking him there,(probably his favorite place), I loved taking him and seeing how happy he was..Even though I am about 20 yrs younger, I considered him a close friend..He was always there for me when I was going through some tough times, and I will always remember him for that..I'm gonna miss you my friend..I know you are gonna be dancing with the ladies again.....To Jerry's family and friends, I am so sorry for the loss, but now he is Having a peace and can now do the things he loved so much again.....Rock on Jerry..
