Jessie Ann White's Obituary
Decatur-Jessie Ann White, 80, of Decatur, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Jessie's life will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the D.A.V. Chapter #17. Jessie was born March 13, 1930 in Decatur, the daughter of Jess and Anna (Spent) Parker. She was previously employed as a line foreman for General Electric and Seasonall. She was a member of the D.A.V. Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, painting, fishing, and crocheting. She married Rolland A. White July 3, 1949. He preceded her in death July 25, 2005.
She leaves behind her daughter; Lisa Ware and husband Norm of Oreana, son; Lance White and fiancée Marquina of Decatur, grandchildren; Lindsay Creviston and husband Bobby, Sarah Case, Steven Marquardt, Jay Gelinas, Ashley Gelinas, Jensen Ware, and Stuart Ware, and great-grandchildren; Mia Ware, Connor Creviston, and Emma Creviston.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, son; Mark, and brother; Carl.
The family requests casual attire and that all friends join them after the services at the D.A.V. to remember the life of this wonderful woman.
