Jo Ella “Ella” Kidwell, 21, of Decatur, IL passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Jo Ella was born on June 29, 1997 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of the late Sue Ellen (Reynolds) and Terry B. Kidwell. She attended Parsons Elementary School, Stephen Decatur Middle and MacArthur High School in Decatur, IL. She graduated from Deer Valley High School in Phoenix, AZ and worked at Macon Resources, Inc.
Jo Ella is survived by her father, Terry B. Kidwell; caregiver, The Reverend M. Stanley Wood; brother and sister in law, T. Brandon and Carrie Kidwell of Traverse City, MI; sister, Marissa Jennings of Grant, MI; aunt, Karene Kidwell of Bloomington, IN; uncle, William Heavin of Rolla, MO; aunt and uncle Jane (Kidwell) and Robert Black of Rolla, MO; aunt and uncle, Charlotte and John Reynolds and family of Mt. Zion,IL; nephew, Alexander King of Traverse City, MI; niece, Brinsley Kidwell of Cornstock Park, MI; niece, Jessica Heavin of Tulsa, OK; niece and nephew, Brooke and Dwayne A. Bell and family of Rolla, MO; niece and nephew, Hillary and Brandon Black and family of Rolla, MO; cousins, Linda and Jerry Wolfe and family, Jeri and Dale Bradford and family, Ginny and William Brocksmith and family, Pam and George Arndt and family, Lisa and Donnie Sutton and family and others of Decatur, IL; Cheryl and Kenneth Snoke of Indiana; Judy and James Sutton and many others including her dog Carma.
JoElla was predeceased by her mother, Sue Ellen Kidwell; aunt, Joy (Kidwell) Heavin; uncle, Harry Kidwell; aunt and uncle, Daisy and James Sutton; aunt and uncle. Donna and William Reynolds and uncle, Ed Reynolds.
Service will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, 201 West North Street 62522, at Church Street at 10 AM. Visitation will be at 9 AM in the sanctuary. Interment will be private at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Boody, IL.
