Joyce Darlene Seal's Obituary
Joyce (Williams) Seal, 80, of Arthur Illinois, passed away Friday July 31, 2020. Born in Fairbury Illinois on January 27,1939. Joyce was one of ten children to Earl and Iza Williams. As a farmer’s wife in Chenoa Illinois she was a very hard worker, she made countless delicious meals and baked goods, once in 1967 even making the newspaper for her raisin cream pie recipe. Often meeting Roger in the field with a meal in hand and helping at harvest time. She spent many a Saturday morning walking beans with Roger and the girls.
Known as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 52 years, Joyce loved to share bible truths with others, one of those truths which she really appreciated is God’s promise of the resurrection to a paradise earth and that death will be no more. Revelation 21:3,4
Joyce is survived by her daughters Angie (Steve) Taylor of Morris Illinois and Tina (Kipp) Patrick of Bement Illinois. Granddaughter Shandel Kee of Tolono Illinois, Grandson Dylan (Lexi) Barclay of Saint Joseph Michigan, and Great grandson Bentley. Sister; Marge Bryant of Alvin Texas, Brothers; Ron Williams of Mahomet Illinois, Roger Williams of Bloomington Illinois, Hurvel Williams of Pontiac Illinois, Terry Williams of Pontiac Illinois, Chuck Williams of Poteet Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was proceeded in death by her husband Roger Seal, her parents Earl and Iza Williams, her sister Sharon, her sister Jan Williams, her brother Gary Williams, Her granddaughter Amber Taylor and nephew Cody Williams.
A memorial service will be held Saturday August 15, 2020 at 1:00pm, via Zoom, Dustin Williams officiating. Memorial contributions can be made at JW.ORG
