Judith Ann Jouglet's Obituary
Florida – Judith A. Jouglet passed away peacefully September 9, 2023, in Sun City Center, Florida. She
was born 23rd April 1937 in Decatur, IL to parents Floyd Harrison and Maxine Erisman. She lived in Decatur, IL until retirement. She married Gene Jouglet in 1969 and they were divorced much later. Judy worked at Citizens National Bank and Soy Capital Bank. She was a Trust Officer at Soy Capital and semi-retired in 1999. For several years she worked from home for Soy Capital coordinating their senior travel club. Judy loved taking the groups on trips and planning new adventures. Judy was a certified paralegal licensed in the State of Illinois and did her practicum in Trusts and Estates.
She moved to Sun City Center, FL in 2003 with her cousin, Barbara Galloway and they shared a home together. Judy and Barb had such joyful times in Sun City Center and were always happy they moved there. They joined friends Marcia, Betty and Elane for dinner out and card games on holidays. Besides her family, Judy’s favorite hobby was genealogy and she was a past President of South Bay Genealogical Society. She also loved going to the walking pool, although in later years after she had oxygen, she walked in the lap pool. She loved all her dogs and the last was “Giny”, a rescue dog who would only let Judy pet her.
Judy leaves her brother, Dale Harrison (Mary) of Blue Ridge, VA; nephew Keith Harrison (Adrienne); great-nephews Tyler and Conner Harrison of Roanoke, VA; niece Lisa Strickland (Jeff) of Connersville, Indiana.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery.
