Judith Mae "Judy" Osborne's Obituary
Decatur – Judith Mae “Judy” Osborne, 88, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Judy was born in Springfield, IL on March 10, 1938, to Robert and Elma (Marshall) Williams. She went to school in Springfield. She married Glenn A. “Ozzie” Osborne on June 3, 1956, in Springfield and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2017. She worked as a cashier at Kroger’s, and Casters in Springfield and then worked as a lunchroom supervisor at Grant and Durfee Grade Schools. She was a member at First Freewill Baptist Church in Decatur.
Surviving are her three sons, Edwin Lynn, Tracy Dean (wife Judy) and Gary Brian (wife Nicole); one daughter, Linda Eileen Lowe (husband Ronnie); 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, if you choose, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or First Freewill Baptist Church in Decatur.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at First Freewill Baptist Church 2709 N 27th St, Decatur, IL 62526. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church before the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield.
